Advanced Professional Makeup

This is a continuation course of Professional Makeup for Beginners!

Topics will include:

  • Covering blemishes and tattoos
  • Camouflaging birthmarks or pimples
  • Practicing four types of primers
  • Using highlighters to enhance and contourers to minimize

Learn to apply makeup based on the shape of a face, eyes, brows, and lips. Have the opportunity to apply full face makeup including strip lashes and professional finishing touches. Bring a photo of a look you like along with your makeup kit and a lunch. Prerequisite: Professional Makeup for Beginners. Instructor: Andi Bradshaw .9 CEU’s.

Bridal and Special Occasion Makeup

Attending a special event encourages you to take your makeup to the next level. Learn the latest techniques to accentuate your features, from contouring to dramatic smoky eyes. With over 20 years of experience in the cosmetology field, instructor Andi Bradshaw will help you create a natural, special look that is just right for you. Be sure to bring your own makeup and other beauty supplies.  Register early. Personal Makeup for Beginners

Bring your own clean brushes, skin care lotions and makeup to learn which products (not brands) are best for your skin type, face and eye shape. Discussion will center on “why you need them, what they do and how to use them.” With individual attention, learn to correct blemishes, create brow shapes and cover dark circles. Learn to produce a false lash look with you own lashes. Every item you need to achieve the flattering look you want—whether it’s soft and natural or dramatic—will be discussed. Have fun learning how easy it is to apply your own makeup that will last all day and into the evening. Register early. If enrolled less than two days before class, materials may be unavailable. Professional Makeup for Beginners

Thinking about becoming a professional makeup artist? Bring your own makeup kit with clean brushes and learn what’s needed to get started. The first class will explain the supplies needed, why and how to use them. The second class will be all about applications. You will apply full face makeup as you learn the professional techniques that will separate you from the novice makeup artist.
