If you have plans to sell your home, this is the class for you! Learn simple and useful techniques like how to declutter, plan space, de-personalize and create enhanced photographs for online marketing and buyer showings. Master Watershed Steward Certification *NEW!*
Master Watershed Steward Certification prepares volunteers to help protect, restore, and aid in the conservation of local watersheds within their own communities. This course will teach the skills needed to assess residential stormwater issues such as: understanding soil profiles, GIS land application, and other citizen science based tools required to apply best management practices to help treat stormwater related conditions. In becoming certified, you will be a part of a network of local professionals and volunteers who work to reduce stormwater pollution. This course is offered in partnership with University of Maryland Extension and the classes will be held at University of MD Extension, 3300 N. Ridge Road, Suite 240, Ellicott City, MD. Additional field trips will be announced at the first class. 3.9 CEUs.

Do you feel helpless when confronted with a home repair? This limited hands-on class teaches you how to fix common household problems easily and safely. Enjoy the savings and satisfaction of learning tips, tools, and skills for simple jobs around the house. Topics include power tools, carpentry, plumbing, and electricity. Instructor: Patrick Boyer.

Winter Options for Your Garden
Summer is over and fall has arrived. What to do with your garden? This class will help you explore options for your garden after the summer season has concluded. Discuss methods of putting your garden to rest, cleaning up, cover crops and mulching. You will also learn simple techniques to extend your season and provide yourself with winter vegetables. Instructor Christian Melendez is a former teacher and knowledgeable  in all things having to do with gardens and soil.
