Motorcycle License-Earning Courses
Basic Rider Course
This is the course most people choose. It is right for you if:
- You've never ridden a motorcycle
- You have limited riding experience.
- You haven't ridden in a long time.
- You want the most information about safety and road skills.
- You should be familiar with riding a bicycle, as balance on a two-wheeled vehicle is required.
Cost: $345
Absolute Beginner Basic Rider Course
Most classes are two evenings and two weekend days. Choose this course if:
- You want to learn to ride, but you're a little nervous about it.
- You'd like a smaller class sizes and more individualized instruction.
- You should be familiar with riding a bicycle, as balance on a two-wheeled vehicle is required.
Cost: $460

Basic Rider Course (BRC) 2 (Formerly the Alternate Basic Rider Course)
This is a shorter, more advanced version of the basic-level course that is completed in just one day. This course is right for you if:
- You are an experienced rider with recent road on road experience who needs to earn a license.
- You don't need to learn the most about safety and road skills.
- If you have any doubt at all about whether this course is right for you, take the Basic Rider course.
