Earn your Logistics or Production Technician Certification

Skilled front-line workers in advanced manufacturing and logistics are in demand. With the Certified Logistics Associate (CLA), Certified Logistics Technician (CLT), or Certified Production Technician (CPT) program, you will be trained in production, material handling, and distribution. Certification is provided by the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC), a nationally-accredited training organization.

  • Certified Logistics Associate/Technician (CLA/CLT)

    The CLA is a foundation level online program appropriate for individuals at the entry level. Course topics will include:

    • Global supply chain logistics life cycle
    • Logistics environment
    • Logistics equipment and safety principles
    • Quality control practices
    • Relevant computer systems and applications

    The CLT is a mid-level course for individuals who have completed CLA or already have industry experience. To take the CLT course, an individual must have successfully passed the CLA test. Course topics will include:

    • Receiving and stocking products
    • Processing and shipping product orders
    • Inventory control
    • Handling hazardous materials
    • Dispatch, routing, and tracking
  • Certified Production Technician (CPT)

    The CPT program is a series of five stackable credentials in advanced manufacturing:

    • Safety and Employability
    • Manufacturing Process and Production
    • Quality Practices and Measurement
    • Maintenance Awareness
    • Green Production

 

Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)

The Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) course provides training for material handling and supply chain logistics jobs. You will learn fundamental principles to apply in the global logistics environment, including use of material handling equipment, safety and quality control best practices, and relevant computer systems and applications. Follow this course with the Mid-Level Certified Logistics Technician course to increase your knowledge and expand your skill set. Your course materials and CLA assessment fee are included in the cost of this course. Standard refund policy does not apply. Refunds issued up until 7 days before course start date. 3.5 CEUs

Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)

The Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) course is the second in a series of courses designed to train you in essential skills for employment in the logistics industry. In this course you will learn best practices for stocking and processing products, shipping, maintaining inventory, handling hazardous materials, evaluating transportation, dispatch, routing and tracking operations. Prerequisite: successful completion of the CLA assessment prior to taking this course. Your course materials and CLT assessment fee are included in the cost of this course. Certified Production Technician - Safety and Employability
The Certified Production Technician (CPT) Safety and Employability course is designed to train you in essential skills for employment in the production industry. In this course you will learn best practices for utilizing personal protective equipment, handling hazardous materials, fire and electrical safety, material handling safety, and much more. This course is one of five stackable credentials to work toward a CPT certification, preparing you for jobs in production and manufacturing - anywhere that products are assembled and checked for quality.
