
Earn your Logistics or Production Technician Certification
Skilled front-line workers in advanced manufacturing and logistics are in demand. With the Certified Logistics Associate (CLA), Certified Logistics Technician (CLT), or Certified Production Technician (CPT) program, you will be trained in production, material handling, and distribution. Certification is provided by the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC), a nationally-accredited training organization.

Certified Logistics Associate/Technician (CLA/CLT)
The CLA is a foundation level online program appropriate for individuals at the entry level. Course topics will include:
- Global supply chain logistics life cycle
- Logistics environment
- Logistics equipment and safety principles
- Quality control practices
- Relevant computer systems and applications
The CLT is a mid-level course for individuals who have completed CLA or already have industry experience. To take the CLT course, an individual must have successfully passed the CLA test. Course topics will include:
- Receiving and stocking products
- Processing and shipping product orders
- Inventory control
- Handling hazardous materials
- Dispatch, routing, and tracking

Certified Production Technician (CPT)
The CPT program is a series of five stackable credentials in advanced manufacturing:
- Safety and Employability
- Manufacturing Process and Production
- Quality Practices and Measurement
- Maintenance Awareness
- Green Production
