Report of Current Status for an Educational Program in Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic at Howard Community College

No Graduates during the 2020 reporting year

Outcome for the calendar year 2019

• Graduation Date of Cohort: December 2019
• NREMT Examination Results: 69% 13 of the 15 have attempted the NRP written exam. 9 have passed the written within the first 3 attempts and 4 have failed at least 1 attempt. Two have not started the written examination testing process. The passing rate for those who have started the testing process is 69% with 6 students remaining eligible to complete the testing process before December 15, 2021.
   
• Retention: 88% 17 started the program and 15 successfully completed the program and graduated in December 2019. 
   
• Positive Placements: 100% All 8 NRP graduates are working in EMS fields. In addition, 3 more graduates, who are not yet NRP credentialed, are either moving forward into nursing school or are working in EMS jurisdictions.
