The Business & Computer Systems Division on the main Columbia campus boasts unique Office Technology college courses to prepare those entering or re-entering the workforce to meet the demands of modern office technology.
The open-entry learning format offers the convenience and flexibility of completing courses without traditional classroom instruction and lectures, but with one-on-one instruction when you need it. Work in the Office Technology classroom, the student computer labs, or online from home.
Most of the coursework may be done outside of the classroom except for any graded speed and accuracy tests. You set your own pace to complete the coursework within the 14 week semester window.
Both the open-entry and online courses are available to learn specific computer and office skills, or to earn credentials or degree credits in a variety of specializations, including:

As a benefit of the Free Certiport Test Voucher and GMetrics Practice Software grant, HCC is offering Microsoft Office Specialist/Expert (MOS) and Microsoft Technical Associate (MTA) test vouchers for students who are currently taking or have recently taken any of the aligned courses listed above.
