Silas Craft Collegians Dinner
March 8, 2021
The Cause
Howard Community College believes there is greatness to be unlocked in everyone and has developed an innovative program for this very purpose.
Named after Howard County educator and civil rights leader Silas Craft, the Silas Craft Collegians program is a comprehensive academic program leading to an associate degree at HCC. The program focuses on recent high school graduates whose past performance does not reflect their true potential and is designed to increase retention, scholastic achievement, graduation, and transfers to four-year institutions.
Students benefit from personalized attention, academic and personal advising, tutoring, study sessions, quality teaching, mentoring, and many other specialized services. Learn more about the Silas Craft Collegians Program and giving to other HCC Honors and Learning Communities.
The Virtual Event
Help us raise funds to provide scholarships for deserving students by tuning in for a virtual program while enjoying a delicious carry-out meal from Hunan Manor Restaurant. Best of all, the net profits will benefit the Silas Craft Collegians Endowment and program funds!
