The Wheel of Fire

An adaptation of Iphigenia in Aulis and The Oresteia
Conceived and Directed by Jenny Male

The fierce siege at Troy begins after Paris abducts Helen from Sparta with the help of Aphrodite.  But how did this epic truly begin?  How does a single action spin characters such as King Agamemnon, his daughter Iphigenia and wife Clytemnestra, the great Achilles, and the prophetess Cassandra into generations of chaos?  In a kinetic production infused with southeast Asian style choices, The Wheel of Fire will explore the chain of dire consequences that eventually leads to battles, heartbreak, sacrifice, and revenge.
