Engage and Learn
Visiting Artist Series
Howard Community College’s Arts & Design Department presents an annual Visiting Artist workshop program. With a focus on community and student enrichment, the series annually features a guest artist presenting on a specific topic related to their work. Students and community members have an opportunity to participate in a credit or non-credit capacity.
Partnerships and Collaborations
The galleries are dedicated to creating partnerships and collaborations with other departments within the college, as well as other art centers and businesses within the community. Examples of these partnerships are the Columbia Festival of the Arts, Columbia Art Center, Candlelight Concerts and the music, dance, world languages and studies abroad programs here at Howard Community College. We welcome proposals for partnerships within the community, so if you have an idea, please contact Thomas Engleman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
