HCC Art Galleries
The Rouse Company Foundation Gallery
This gallery is devoted to bringing quality exhibits to Howard County that reflect the diverse range of visual art in America and beyond. The gallery staff is motivated to educate, inspire, and elevate the HCC community with interesting, informative, and provocative shows.
Art Department Gallery
The Gallery is devoted to exhibiting the artists in the college community; giving our students, alumni, and community artists the experience of organizing and presenting art work done locally. The Gallery is scheduled in coordination with the director of visual arts and the art faculty when appropriate. Letters of interest from community arts organizations are welcome.

HCC Dance
The HCC Dance Department collaborates with the Arts Collective and the Horowitz Center to produce multiple events each season. The Dance Faculty Concert features the choreographed work and performance of HCC dance faculty members. The Arts Collective Dance Company features HCC dance students. The annual Howard County Community Dance Festival provides an opportunity for local dancers to learn, share and enjoy their craft.
HCC Film
The HCC Film Program has developed a number of film series to complement various productions and events this season. All films are shown free to the public. Visit our website for up-to-date information about our film festivals and programs.
HCC Music
The Howard Community College Concert Series aims to bring extraordinary, exciting, and intimate musical experiences to audiences in Howard County and its surrounding communities through the concerts, master classes, and lectures presented in the Horowitz Center.
HCC Theatre
The award-winning and regionally recognized HCC Theatre Department offers many performance opportunities for students and community members throughout each year, including fall and spring plays and musicals, touring children’s theatre, showcases, and outdoor Shakespeare performances. Led by a professional theatre faculty, students are well-prepared for a future in theatre.
Rep Stage
Rep Stage produces exceptional theatre, with a commitment to both contemporary American classics and new work, by creating a collaborative artistic space in which regional theatre professionals tell evocative, engaging stories. As the nation's only professional regional theatre in residence at a community college, Rep Stage has provided patrons in Howard County and beyond with exceptional professional theatre for over twenty-five years.
