The Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 requires institutions to notify students annually of their right to receive various consumer information items. Howard Community College has made this information available to the public on this web page.

Financial Aid Services is located in the Rouse Company Foundation building in room 222 on the main campus. Staff is available by phone, email or in person to assist students with any financial aid questions. Contact information can be found online.

- Facilities and Services Available to Students with Disabilities
Howard Community College is committed to serving students with disabilities. Any student with a documented disability is eligible to request services through Disability Support Services. Each student has the responsibility to notify Disability Support Services should he or she seek accommodations with Howard Community College and complete all documentation to begin this process. Once approved, individualized accommodation memos are developed for each student. After receiving is/her individualized accommodation memo, each student is responsible for notifying his or her faculty for each class in which they choose to use accommodations. - Transfer of Credit Policies and Articulation Agreements
Howard Community College will evaluate a transcript from another college or university for acceptance toward a degree or certificate program. Information on transferring credit is available online.
- Institutional and Program Accreditation, Approval or Licensure
Howard Community College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher education and the Maryland Higher Education Commission to offer programs of learning and to award the associate in arts degree and certificate of proficiency. More information is available.
- Annual Security Report
Howard Community College sends each enrolled student and employee by October 1 of each year a notices of the availability of the Security report. This report is available online and upon request.

- Vaccination Policies
Although general admission to Howard Community College does not require a complete health history, students entering certain Nursing and Allied Health programs will be required to submit a health form and proof of certain vaccination, immunization and titre requirements in order to progress through the program.
