College Policy Number/Title:
Howard Community College Office of Human Resources will maintain a record of all positions that have been budgeted, established, classified, and approved by all appropriate officials including the area vice president, the vice president of administration and finance, and the president. A position control file containing documentation and history on each budgeted position will be maintained. Any revisions deletions or additions in positions will be initiated and approved during the college’s annual integrated strategic planning and budget development cycle using the appropriate position action form available on the portal. Exceptions to this timeframe may be approved by the president’s team when necessary.
