Former Howard Community College guard Jordan Reid signed a contract to play professionally with the Hub City Hogs, a minor-league team in the East Coast Basketball League.

Reid was a two-year starter on the HCC basketball team. He graduated in 2019 with an associate degree and then transferred to Wheeling University in West Virginia. Reid enjoyed an exceptional basketball career at NCAA Division II Wheeling University. He was a three-time All-Mountain East Conference selection and ranks 18th on Wheeling's all-time scoring list.

“At HCC my experience was great. My teammates, coaches, staff, and faculty always looked out for me. Ultimately, it made me better. Not only on the court, but most importantly, outside of basketball. To me, it means the world to represent the HCC basketball program. HCC gave me a chance not many were willing to give.”

Reid wants to inspire the next person to stay the course and persevere through challenges. He's leading by example.
