Galina

Galina knew she needed to expand her skills if she wanted to make it in the job market.
With her existing medical credentials she earned in Russia, Galina worked in an American biotech company for several years until it closed. She knew she needed a U.S. college degree to keep working in health care, and heard about HCC’s Medical Laboratory Technician degree program.
“The admissions office and program director made the transfer process so smooth,” she says, “and also connected me with a scholarship to help with finances.” After intensive study, lab practice with real instrumentation, and clinical experience in the MLT program, Galina is ready to relaunch her career in the health care field.
