As a kid, Anthony loved learning and building. Growing up, he watched his father making improvements around the house and was eager to assist.
“Whether it was installing a fence or picking out flooring for our new kitchen, I was always there,” he said.
Anthony saw his siblings succeed at Howard Community College (HCC) and once learning about the college’s construction management program, he knew it would be the perfect fit after high school.
Unsurprisingly, Anthony enjoys his construction management courses the most, but says he enjoys learning in every class at HCC. In both semesters he’s attended, Anthony is proud to have made the dean’s list and hopes to continue to do so throughout his time at the college.
After graduating from HCC, he plans to transfer to The Universities at Shady Grove to earn a bachelor’s degree in construction management.
“Long-term, I hope to lead big construction projects as a construction manager,” he said.
