Third Annual HCC 5K Challenge Race Promotes Wellness, Raises Funds for Student Scholarships
Columbia, MD – More than 400 employees from over 40 area businesses will run, climb, and crawl to the finish line on October 30, 2016, for the third annual Howard Community College (HCC) 5K Challenge Race, a wellness and teambuilding event that raises funds for student scholarships. The race takes place on the HCC campus and features a celebration village and awards ceremony for participating teams.
The Howard Community College Educational Foundation has partnered with the Columbia Association and the American Heart Association for the event, which focuses on corporate health and wellness programs for small and large organizations in the community.
