New Student Orientation Sessions Scheduled for August 13, 20, and 22

New Student Orientation sessions for Howard Community College (HCC) have been scheduled for August 13, August 20, and August 22, 2018.

An evening orientation session is scheduled for Monday, August 20, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., and a daytime orientation is scheduled for Monday, August 13, and Wednesday, August 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. First-time students to HCC are encouraged and expected to attend. Each orientation session will allow new students to dialogue with faculty from their academic division, meet new and experienced students, and learn about the resources that will inspire their success at the college. Parents are welcome, and will be attending a special parent session during their student’s orientation.  

Each session features refreshments, information packets, and planned activities, including interactive workshops, campus tours, and prizes. Students should plan to arrive early to find parking and avoid long lines at check-in.  

Registration is now open. Interested students should RSVP online at howardcc.edu/nso to reserve a space at one of these sessions. Students can also sign up by calling 443-518-1420. It is only necessary to attend one session.
