
Howard Community College Hosts Maryland Student Film Festival
Columbia, MD –The Howard Community College Film Department and Dragon Digital Media will host the 4th annual Maryland Student Film Festival to showcase local student filmmakers and videographers (high school or college). Film submissions will be screened at a public venue located in the Monteabaro Recital Hall at Howard Community College Friday, June 1 from 2-5pm.
The Maryland Student Film Festival is a collaboration between Howard Community College and the Howard County Public School System and will feature films produced by area students. The festival is free and open to the public.
Select films screened during the Maryland Student Film Festival are also eligible to air on Dragon Digital Television, Howard Community College’s arts and educational cable television channel, which serves Howard and Anne Arundel counties on Verizon channel 41 and on Comcast channel 96.
