Health Care Interpreter Program Featured on WYPR
Supported by a grant from the Horizon Foundation, HCC’s Health Care Interpreter Certificate Program teaches bilingual students how to interpret at doctor offices, hospitals, and other health care settings.
HCC Instructor Lisette Albano and interpreter Hyon Lee were recently featured on WYPR’s “On the Record,” where they discussed the program and described how interpreters improve patient care while acting as a neutral party.
