HCC Educational Foundation Announces New Board Members
Columbia, MD – The Howard Community College Educational Foundation, Inc. (HCCEF) recently announced the appointment of two new members – Benjamin Mobley and Thomas Munns – to the board of directors.
Benjamin Mobley is a vice president and a relationship strategist for PNC Wealth Management. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from West Chester University and is currently working on his MBA at Temple University Fox School of Business. Prior to joining PNC Wealth Management, Mobley served as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley for more than 11 years. Mobley also serves on the board of the Howard Hospital Foundation.
Thomas Munns is an account manager, major account sales with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing at Plymouth State University and graduated from Leadership Howard County in 2012. Munns currently serves as a board member of the Howard County Library System and volunteers with the Boys Scouts of America, where he is co-founder and the current committee chairman for Troop 318 in Ellicott City.

The Howard Community College Educational Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt organization that provides funds for scholarships, grants, and programs that benefit the college and its students. Established in 1978, the mission of HCCEF is to improve lives and create opportunities by funding pathways to student success. All administrative costs are covered by the college to ensure that all the money raised goes directly to scholarships or to advance and support the programs and facilities of Howard Community College.
