HCC Board of Trustees Meetings Scheduled for April

Columbia, MD – The Board of Trustees of Howard Community College (HCC) will hold a special meeting, and a work session and regular meeting in April.  The special meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 14, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. in McCuan Hall (MH), room 256.  The board will also hold a work session and regular session on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, in The Rouse Company Foundation Student Services Hall (RCF), room 400. The work session will begin at 6:00 p.m., and will be followed immediately by the regular session.

Citizens who wish to present any matter of concern pertaining to the community college to the board of trustees shall make written request to the secretary-treasurer of the board at least 72 hours prior to the regularly scheduled public meeting, in order that the matter may be included on the agenda for the meeting.  In emergency situations, the board may, by a majority vote, give visitors who have not presented a written request in advance an opportunity to present their concerns to the board in any regular public meeting.  The board, in recognition of the need to complete its business within reasonable time, reserves the right to terminate a presentation of this nature.
