
Assistance for ITT Tech Students

For students impacted by the closure of ITT Tech campuses in Maryland, Howard Community College stands ready to help them achieve their educational goals. The college will work individually with students to discuss academic opportunities, including nontraditional credit for prior education. The college will also work with students on financial options and the tradeoffs associated with discharging federal student loans.
For nearly 50 years, Howard Community College has provided affordable and accessible higher education to families in Howard County. A fully accredited higher education institution, Howard Community College offers credit and noncredit courses in business, cybersecurity and information technology, health sciences, and the arts and sciences.
Howard Community College has long been recognized for its service to adult students, veterans, and members of the military. The college is designated a 2016 Military Friendly School, and most recently, Washington Monthly ranked the college the number four two-year college in the nation for adult students. A valuable student service is the Counseling and Career Services Center, which provides personal and career counseling. Staff also provide assistance with writing resumes, preparing for interviews, and securing employment.
