Howard Community College Named a “Great College to Work For” 11 Years in Row Results of National Workplace Survey to Appear in The Chronicle of Higher Education
For a record 11th consecutive year, HCC has been named a Great College to Work For. HCC is one of two Maryland community colleges and one of 25 community colleges nationwide to receive this year’s award.

Darion Smith is the new assistant professor of dance at HCC. Smith, who got his start at a community college, is excited to bring his experience into the process of mentoring, guiding, and shaping the next generation of dance artists and educators.
