HCC student Amira Cooper heard about the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship two years ago. She learned that alumni of her HCC honors program had previously won the prestigious national award. So she decided to apply.

The HCC film program launched a film discussion series this spring. The series operates much like a book club. Participants choose the films that interest them from the schedule and watch the films at their convenience before the scheduled discussion.

HCC Director of Athletics Erin Foley has named Shannon Riley as the first head coach of the newly formed softball program. Riley will be entrusted with the task of building the program from the ground up in time for the 2021–2022 season.
