HCC will offer a blended learning environment for the fall semester, with some instruction in person for classes that benefit from hands-on experiences or labs. There will be three different class formats – hybrid, scheduled remote, and flexible online.

HCC will launch esports as its newest athletics program for the fall 2020 season. After accepting an invitation to the NECC esports league, HCC is now the first Maryland community college to hold a collegiate esports team membership.

HCC's culinary classrooms are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but that hasn’t stopped culinary students from baking up a storm. Students are making everything they can with ingredients they have at home – and then sharing photos with teachers.
