
WORKFORCE RECRUITMENT PROGRAM - ATTENTION STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES: Check out this paid internship program with the federal government in Summer 2022
The WRP is a recruitment program for students and recent graduates (April 2019 or later) with disabilities and serves as a primary pipeline for bringing new talent into the federal government.

Eligibility Requirements:
· Must be a US citizen to apply.
· Must have a documented disability and be able to provide a Schedule A letter.
· Must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program (not a certificate program) and be taking at least 6 credits per semester.
· All students will have an informational interview with the WRP recruiter sometime from October 25 - November 17, 2021. All interviews will be conducted via phone or Zoom.
STEP 1: Attend a Virtual WRP Orientation Session
Virtual WRP Orientation sessions will be conducted via Zoom. If this is your first time applying, please attend one of these sessions to learn more about the program and application process. Please let Career Services know if you need accommodations to attend on Zoom by calling 443-518-1340. Students who wish to remain anonymous to other attendees can choose to create a screen name and keep their video and microphone off.

After attending an orientation session, please schedule a remote WRP consultation appointment with Amy Crawford, Assistant Director of Internships and Cooperative Education, by calling 443-518-1340, acrawford@howardcc.edu. Amy is the WRP campus coordinator for HCC. She will critique your resume and review your application. She can also provide you with guidance about your meeting with the WRP recruiter.
