      A collaboration of Howard Community College (HCC) and the Howard County Concert Orchestra (HCCO) featuring HCC Violin Faculty Sheng-Tsung Wang and Cello Faculty Benjamin Myers as soloists in Brahms’ Concerto for Violin and Cello in A minor, Op. 108 and the strings of the HCCO in Tchaikovsky’s Serenade in C for Strings, Op. 48.

      The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program is a fully funded summer overseas language and cultural immersion program for American undergraduate and graduate students. With the goal of broadening the base of Americans studying and mastering critical languages and building relationships between the people of the United States and other countries, CLS provides opportunities to a diverse range of students from across the United States at every level of language learning.  A representative from (CLS) will be on Campus for a brief informational session regarding the program and to answer any questions that.

      The time is 1959. The place is Emerson’s Bar and Grill, a seedy little jazz club in Philadelphia. The audience is about to witness one of Billie Holiday's final performances, given four months before her death. More than a dozen musical numbers including “God Bless the Child”, “My Man” and “Strange Fruit” are interlaced with salty, often humorous, reminiscences to project a riveting portrait of the lady and her music.

      Thursdays only

      • We will now offer $10.00 single tickets for ALL Thursday performances, including the Thursday previews. These tickets will go on-sale one month before the opening of each production.  The Heidi Chronicles Thursday single tickets will go on sale on October 2, 2017.
      • Memberships may be purchased for Thursday at the full membership price
      • No other discounts may be used with $10.00 Thursdays purchases
      • “$10.00 Thursdays” will replace the Pay-What-You-Can Performances
