Information Sessions on IT Apprenticeship Time: 11:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Online Details:
Join the apprenticeship team for an information session to hear about HCC's IT apprenticeship.
HCC, in partnership with AT&T and SCDIT, has developed an IT apprenticeship program which enables students to earn a security clearance while preparing to enter an IT field. Apprentices initially work a minimum of 20 hours/week on the job, take two courses per semester, and then transition into full-time employment when they obtain their security clearance. Apprentices also earn 18 to 24 college credits, and earn N+ and S+ certifications. The starting salary is a minimum of $26/hour.
Applications for the next apprenticeship cohort will be open September 14 - 28, 2020. This information session will provide interested applicants with important information on program requirements and the application process.

Asian Literature Colloquium explores the historical and cultural contexts of a work of literature from Asia. For the fall 2020 semester, we will be reading and discussing a series of modern and contemporary short stories from Japan, with monthly Zoom meetings on the second Thursday of each month. All readings will be available through the Asian Literature Colloquium’s Canvas site.
