      The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is an internship program for students with disabilities with the federal government. Check out www.wrp.gov to learn more.       Join the apprenticeship team for an information session to hear about HCC's IT apprenticeship.
       
      HCC, in partnership with AT&T and SCDIT, has developed an IT apprenticeship program which enables students to earn a security clearance while preparing to enter an IT field. Apprentices initially work a minimum of 20 hours/week on the job, take two courses per semester, and then transition into full-time employment when they obtain their security clearance. Apprentices also earn 18 to 24 college credits, and earn N+ and S+ certifications. The starting salary is a minimum of $26/hour.


      Applications for the next apprenticeship cohort will be open September 14 - 28, 2020. This information session will provide interested applicants with important information on program requirements and the application process.
