The conversation surrounding the Black experience in America is grounded in the historical struggle of African Americans throughout American history. This past collective history shapes the day to day experiences of many within society. But what about someone who does not share this history but visually presents as a member of this group? This is the everyday experience of many Africans and other Black individuals in America.
