Wed. Nov 20, 2019 12:30pm - 1:50pm
DH 100
This presentation will share the sample practices of teaching Global Competency and Ethics in anthropology and geography classes ,which help develop our students' awareness of ethical reasoning for global issues and respect for cultures outside of their own experiences. This presentation will also demonstrate several active learning strategies in teaching these concepts, including employment of lapboards, gamification and mobile technology to help keep students consistently engaged and active in the classroom.
