Sometimes There Isn't An Answer: Using Observations and Reflections to Come to Understanding (Diversity Index # 0898)
Wed. Nov 20, 2019 2:30pm - 3:30pm
When learning about, working with, or visiting different locations/people/cultures often we are left with questions thatn cannot easily be answered. This is the case with study abroad, service learning, and often college experience as well as the workplace. Observing and reflecting are ways to come to answer, as is engaging others by asking questions and sharing reflections. The presenters will lead participants through observing and reflecting practices that they have used successfully in classes, on study abroad, and on Alternative Winter Break.
