Exploring how coffeehouses and Heurigers (wine taverns) are an essential part of Austrian life raises interesting questions about how we live, communicate, connect, and socialize in the modern city today. Listed by UNESCO in 2011 as an intangible heritage-one that is to be preserved and protected-learn how Austrian coffeehouses create identity and are meaningful for society.
