Mignonnes (Cuties) is a 2021 French coming-of-age drama about a Senegalese-French girl with a traditional Muslim upbringing who is caught between traditional values and Internet culture. Although this film became one of the most viewed titles in Netflix history, over nine million subscribers canceled their Netflix subscriptions over this film. Written and directed by Maïmouna Doucouré in her feature directorial debut and starring Fathia Youssouf, Médina El Aidi-Azouni, Esther Gohourou, Ilanah Cami-Goursolas and Maïmouna Gueye. 1 hour, 34 minutes.
