What is the Student Government Association?

The SGA is designed to provide a vehicle for student involvement in the administration, legislation and judicial governance of the College. The Student Government Association also participates in affecting student monies and events, in shaping policies, in forming student regulations, and in governing student organizations

How Can I Get Involved in the SGA? 

Opportunities in SGA include officers, representatives, student representative to college committees, and special events organizers. Student representatives serve with members of the college faculty, staff and administration on the Curriculum and Instruction Committee, College Council, Commencement, Diversity, Enrollment Management, Facilities Planning, Food Service, Organizational Development, Planning Council, Renovations, Safety and Technology committees assuring that the student perspective is being voiced. Contact an SGA representative, review the constitution or attend a meeting for more information.
