Disability Support Services
The goal of this office is to support students with disabilities so that they may participate fully in college life and get the greatest benefit from their educational experience. Services include, but are not limited to, academic advising, advocacy, academic accommodations, use of assistive technology, sign language interpreters, readers, writers, proctors and various test taking accommodations.
In order to receive support on campus, students must register with the DSS office and meet with a counselor. They must also provide documentation of their disability. If necessary, counselors will work with students in order to help them obtain appropriate documentation and /or provide them with referral sources.
