With the advent of the myHCC portal, the IT department has updated all Outlook accounts to match what is listed in our main database.  This ensures that we only need to sign on one time to access myHCC.  There are some minor changes for faculty and staff, and a major change for students.

HCC Faculty and Staff - What Has Changed

The name that is displayed in the From field now has the following format: Last Name, First Name (or however it is listed in Colleague).

What Remains the Same:

Your actual email address.  In the above example, you may continue to type chairston@howardcc.edu. 

You will notice that the name will change to the new format without you having to type it.

You may continue to search for names in the same way, or by last name, first name.

HCC Students - What Has Changed 

1.    Student Email Addresses are now in the following format: First Name (dot) Last Name @howardcc.edu.
       (ex. Carla.Hairston@howardcc.edu)

2.    The name that is displayed in the From field now has the following format: Last Name, First Name (or however it is listed in Colleague).
