HCC a Top Digital Community College

HCC ranks among the top ten in the nation for large-sized community colleges!

e.Republic’s Center for Digital Education announced the results and winners of the nineth annual Digital Community Colleges Survey.  The ranking was established based on the national Digital Community Colleges Survey, which examines how colleges deploy technology to streamline operations and better serve students, faculty and staff.

Winners were grouped into three categories based on student enrollment: small (less than 5,000 students), mid-sized (between 5,000 and 10,000 students) and large (more than 10,000 students). 

Community colleges apply for this award by responding to a detailed questionnaire regarding online services, e-learning and classroom and other technology employed in their organization.   For a complete list of winners and details, please visit the Center for Digital Education website. 

"This survey gives great insight into the nation’s Community Colleges’ efforts to advance services to students through new technologies," says Cathilea Robinett, executive vice president of e.Republic. "The winners in these categories have increased the number of computers and kiosks, automated labor-intensive processes, improved student portals and increased student online services and more. Congratulations!"
