Searching for a job takes time, energy, and preparation.  Whether you are looking for your first position to advance or even to change your career, you must be proactive by preparing yourself for the job search.  To assist in your current job search process, career counselors are available to help with developing job search strategies, reviewing resumes, and preparing for interviews. 

Job search assistance is available free of charge to students and community members on an appointment basis.

Additional services include job fairs and on campus recruiting events which provide opportunities for job seekers to meet employers. 

In addition to providing counseling in our office, we also provide online job search resources.  Our online job board, HCC Job Connection, offers job listings for job seekers.  Additionally, employers can post their vacancies online.  To participate in HCC Job Connection, both job seekers and employers should register and establish accounts.
