Internships with the Office of the Public Defender, Ellicott City, MD
Program Description:
- Interns will assist in the defense of criminal cases in the various County Circuit, District, and Juvenile Courts. Interns are teamed with attorneys and assist with cases, which range in seriousness from misdemeanor theft to homicide.
- Duties will include: filing motions and legal memoranda; participating in case planning and preparation for trial, hearings, and/or sentencing; witness coordination; and assisting attorneys at court hearings and trials.

Disney Internships
Program Description:
- Every semester a Disney recruiter visits HCC to provide a presentation in RCF 302 with specific details about the internship program, types of job duties, living accommodations, pay, etc.
- Paid internships are open to all majors, freshmen through seniors. Disney has openings for performers and culinary students as well.
- An information table will be available on the day of the visit from 10 a.m. to noon in the RCF Lobby
- Interviews will follow each session.
- Students must attend a presentation prior to being interviewed.
- The next Disney recruitment date will be posted on the Calendar of Events
- Stop by to discuss an internship opportunity with the Disney recruiter.

Internships in the office of Barbara Mikulski, U.S. Senator - Maryland
- Work closely with legislative staff and have the opportunity to work on issues of your choice
- Attend hearings, write issue briefs, and acquire research materials for the legislative staff
- Work with administrative and support staff to experience the operations of a U.S. Senate office.
Unpaid internships are designed for college students, recent grads or advanced degree candidates.
