Purchasing used textbooks from students is a service provided by the Bookstore. Used books are purchased twice a year, at the end of the Fall and Spring semesters, during exams. The prices offered are based on resale demand, whether at Howard Community College or the national wholesale market. The maximum possible return on a used book is 50% of the current new book price.

Students are paid by check; cash is not given.

*The Spring term Used Book Buy Back began today Monday, May 12th and will continue thru and including Monday, May 19th. The buy is conducted during regular Bookstore hours which are:
Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. / Friday's hours are 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
