Boys Basketball (Ages 9-16)

From beginners to advanced, this school is designed to meet the needs of specific ages with emphasis on basic skill fundamentals. Emphasis is on individual and team play in a high energy, fun filled atmosphere. Competition and contests are offered to motivate and improve performance. Individual and team awards are given out, as well as a t-shirt and ball. Directed by HCC head coaches, Randolph Edison and Tiffany Stewart. They will be assisted by college players. Girls Basketball (Ages 9-16)

From beginners to advanced, this school is designed for specific ages to learn the game of basketball. The school will emphasize the basic fundamentals of skill development, while offering individual and team play in a fun filled atmosphere. Coed Basketball Position Specialty (Ages 12-16)

Grouped by skill, age, and gender. Designed for both boys and girls who need more specific position skill development. Guard play in the morning, forward and center play in the afternoon. Learn how to organize floor play as a guard and move more effectively with and off the ball. Forwards and centers will learn offensive moves designed to get you open! How to effectively put on and break a press! This camp is designed for those who want to play high school and college basketball. The camp will be taught by former DI and DIII NCAA head coach and current Athletic Director of Howard Community College, Diane Schumacher. She will share her 30 years of knowledge in a fun-filled action packed session to improve your overall play and get you ready for the season. T-shirt, ball, and awards. Guest speakers. Dragon Coed Soccer (Ages 7-16)

Designed for beginners and advanced beginners to improve the skill of soccer. Individual attention with group play is emphasized in a positive atmosphere. Directed by former professional player and current HCC head coach, Stefan Draganov. He will provide a European flavor to the American game of soccer. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and ball. Dragon Sprint School (Ages 13-17)

Throughout the week, focus will be on the following: conditioning and proper stretching, general training principles, drills & technique, start & technique, race preparation, relays, and film breakdown. Directed by HCC head coach Errick Henlon. Errick has worked with several major high schools in his home country of Jamaica. During his coaching tenure at Howard County high schools he developed several state champions in the sprints and hurdles. At HCC, Errick has guided 19 All-Americans at the NJCAA Division III Nationals, along with being named National Track Coach of the year for Men in 2004 and 2007.
