If you have been approved by the DSS office to use the Individual Proctoring Service (IPS) and need to schedule a test, please use the link below. To use this service, you need to have signed a copy of the Procedures for Using the Individual Proctoring Service with your DSS counselor. Most of the fields on the form are mandatory, so please refer to the Procedures form before accessing the online form to make sure you have the necessary information. Remember, the form also has the timeline for scheduling tests. When filling in the online form, make sure you follow the format for each field exactly. If you have problems with the form, please call the Assistive Technology Specialist at 443-518-3266. Extra forms are available outside the Assistive Technology Office (RCF 345).
Some points to keep in mind:
- You need to keep your class schedule on our joint Google calendar up-to-date. If you have never set up a joint calendar, please see the Assistive Technology Specialist. The joint Google calendar must follow a specific naming convention and must allow the Assistive Technology Specialist to make changes and manage sharing.
- After you submit a request, you and your instructor will get a confirmation email listing the information you submitted. If you discover an error, please send an email to the Assistive Technology Specialist with the correct information.
- Towards the end of the week, start watching your calendar for your scheduled testing session. If you do not have a Google account, you will need to set up the joint Google calendar to send you notifications when events are added or changed on your calendar.
