Head Coach
Kate Seagroves
Kate Seagroves has an extensive history in soccer, and her goal is to pass on her knowledge of the game to her players. Kate earned a B.S. in Education with a teaching certification from North Carolina Wesleyan, where she was a four year starter. She captained two years and won All-Conference and All-Region honors when the team was ranked in the top 10. Kate earned her M.S. in Health, Physical Education and Recreation at Middle Tennessee State University, where she a graduate assistant soccer coach. She was a big contributor in the start of the women's soccer program at MTSU. Kate holds a USSF coaching license. She was awarded the NSCAA South Region Coach of the Year for the 2003 and 2010 seasons. In the past 8 years the team has been ranked in the NJCAA National Polls, won 5 region XX titles, 3 district titles and a 3rd place National finish in 2003, 2007, and 2010. In 2006 Coach Seagroves and her team were Maryland JuCo co-champions with Harford for the first time in its history.
