"My experience with the Howard CC soccer team was a great one. I started playing in August 2009 and ended my career in November 2010. Playing at HCC taught me discipline, responsibility and team work. My highlight would have to be making it to the National Championships in New York as well as receiving the honor of being selected Second Team All-Conference and First Team All-Region. I had a great time at HCC and it set me up with the skills and knowledge to continuing my playing career at another college."

"As an immigrant it was a first unforgettable American memory for me when I played for Howard CC soccer team in 2009 and 2010. I was a member of this MD JUCO Conference and Region XX Champion Team. It was good for me to participate in this program - I met new friends and had fun. I appreciate it for the passion I  received which has helped me to pursue a coaching career with the Thunder Soccer Club."

"Playing at HCC in 2006 and 2007 opened a lot of doors for me both academically and in soccer. The team consisted of dedicated players and exciting trips that offered challenging competition, both locally and nationally. Playing alongside athletes of varying ages and nationalities makes the team dynamics different than most club, high school, or other college teams. The coaching staff takes great care of the players on and off the field and improves everyone as a player and a student."

"I played for Howard CC men's team in 2003 and 2005. In 2003 HCC went undefeated to the National Quarter Finals. Howard CC was ranked number one in the country for consecutive weeks. In 2005 I captained the team to the Region 10 finals and lost to Anne Arundel CC. I earned First Team All-Conference and was a nominee for All-American. The most important thing that I took from my years of playing soccer at Howard CC was the ability to perform as a student athlete. The soccer program  helped me to develop as a soccer player, but most importantly as a student athlete. I graduated from HCC and moved on to a four year university and earned my bachelor's degree."
