Welcome to HCC: Home of the Dragons!If you wish to continue your athletic career from high school or club sports, and/or have transferred from a four year school or discharged from our military, consider getting involved in our sports programs to enhance your overall college experience while you are here.
Each athletic program is coached by dedicated professionals with varied years of experience. Student-athletes from HCC have transferred to four year schools with athletic scholarships. Others have been selected as academic All-Americans, All-Americans, All-Region and All-MD JUCO. Some have become better college athletes than what they were in high school.
If you are interested in joining a team, or to learn more about the programs, please stop by the Athletic and Fitness Center located at the intersection of Campus Drive and Dragon Place. Talk to some of the student-athletes or the coaches who are available. You can also browse our website and fill out a contact card or contact the coach directly with our new and improved site.
Recent Titles
HCC's sponsored programs, including track and cross country, women's soccer, and men's basketball and lacrosse, have placed in the top ten in the nation. Our programs have also achieved regional, district, and conference championships. These include women's volleyball (D-III), soccer (D-III), basketball (D-II), cross country (D-III), track (D-III), and men's soccer (D-III), and lacrosse (D-I). Women's soccer placed third at Nationals in 2003 and 2007. Our track coaches were selected as National Coaches of the Year by the NJCAA in 2004 and 2007.
