  • Enter your HCC Login ID (in the format of jwalker1234).
  • Enter your zip code and home phone number.
  • Create your secret questions.
  • Click 'Next' to continue.
  • Create your new password. This should be at least 7 characters long and have 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 number, and 1 special character.

2. If you have a smart phone, iPad, or laptop that automatically checks email or connects to the college's WiFi network, then you need to update those devices. Do this at the same time you complete step 1.

Do you need to update your password?

HCC students, faculty and staff are required to change their passwords every six months. Follow the instructions below to set a new password. If your password has expired and you are locked out or if you don't know your password, then follow the reset instructions above.

  • If prompted, login in with your current password and click 'myHCC Accounts'

2. Create your new password.

  • Note: This password must be 7 characters long and contain at least one upper case character, one lower case character, a number and a special character such as "!, @, #, $, or %"

If you do NOT know your current password, reset it here.

3. If you have a smart phone, iPad, or laptop that automatically checks email or connects to the college's WiFi network, then you need to update those devices. Do this at the same time you complete step 2.
