Arabic - A.A. Degree (Transfer)
With over 300 million native speakers, Arabic is the fifth most commonly spoken language in the world and, as the official language of the Qur’an, is understood by Muslims throughout the world. It is one of several languages designated as critical to U.S. diplomacy, business, competitiveness, and security because there is a high demand and low supply of Arabic speakers. HCC’s Arabic associate degree is offered for students intending to transfer to a four-year institution’s Arabic program to earn a bachelor’s degree and language proficiency at an intermediate/advanced level.
