Motorcycle Safety Class Schedule

Motorcycle Safety - Rider School

Our classes fill quickly. Chose the right class for you and check availability here.

Class days and times vary depending on the course. See below for more details.

License-Earning Motorcycle Courses

The Basic Rider Course (BRC) and the Absolute Beginner Basic Rider Course (ABC) require the completion of a three-hour online component before class meets. Students will be required to bring proof of completion to class. Students must provide a valid email address at time of registration in order to receive instructions to access the online module. If you do not receive instructions one week before your class starts, please call 443-518-4808. Students may arrange for access to HCC computer labs, if needed, to complete this portion.

Basic Rider Course

This is our most popular course. It is for you if you've never ridden a motorcycle, you have limited riding experience, haven't ridden in a long time or could benefit from comprehensive information about safety and road skills.
Cost: $345

Scheduling:  Three-hour MSF eCourse, two evening classroom sessions and two range sessions

  • Classroom sessions on Monday and Wednesday evenings
  • Range sessions on Saturday and Sunday morning or afternoon
  • Weekday classes are also available, starting Monday and finishing Wednesday

You should have your own two-wheeled motorcycle, which is licensed and insured and can pass our safety inspection. Call 443-518-4971 for registration information.
